This page has resources for:

  • Family Caregivers & Those Needing Support

  • Local Professional Caregivers

  • Local Caregiver Network Profiles and Contact Information\

Disclosure: The Cloverdale Senior Multipurpose Center, its staff, volunteers, and affiliates do not recommend, endorse, or supervise caregivers. Caregivers listed on this page are independent contractors, and this list is to be used as a resource. See below for best hiring practices for independent care providers.

If you are a caregiver (professional or for family/friends) who wishes to join the caregiver support group:

  • The caregiver support group meets on the last Wednesday of the month. Please check the calendar or a current newsletter (“The Clover Leaf) for details.

  • Currently, these meetings take place in person at the senior center. If you have questions, please call the Senior Center. These are closed-door meetings, and attendees are asked not to discuss the personal information shared to maintain the integrity of these meetings' trusting environment.

  • These meetings offer activities to support caregivers, create local caregiving connections, offer resource support, space to share skills, and create networking partners offering caregiver coverage, locally.

  • Family/Friend Caregivers are welcome to join the support group. Even though this is not your “profession,” you are welcome to seek support from caring peers. Caregiving, especially for family members, is very high-stress work. This group strives to maintain a safe environment to discuss and deal with the trials and frustrations of being a caregiver and provide resources and information pertinent to caregivers.

  • This group is a local network of connections that can assist you with care when you need personal time while still providing a compassionate person to care for your family member.

  • Senior Center members are always welcome. You can attend the caregiver support group without being a senior center member, though we recommend it. If you want to utilize the caregiver resource listings, we require that you are a current senior center member.

  • Local Care For Local Elders - This is a network of local caregivers in the Cloverdale Area. They have their own membership program that supports local independent caregivers. The Senior Center does not represent, facilitate, or fund this group. The Local Care For Local Elders caregiver network team facilitates caregiver support meetings at our center.

Local Caregiver Listing

The Senior Center takes no responsibility for any of the listed caregivers and recommends that individuals hiring caregivers do their due diligence and request background checks and references before hiring a contracted caregiver.
